Frog jaw

General: For tensioning and/or pulling wire rope, wire and cables made of steel or copper. The grooved contact plates, which do not damage the rope, work on the principle that the greater the force applied, the harder the jaws grip the rope. The inbuilt spring construction means that the jaws always keep their grip on the rope, even when it is unloaded.

Execution: Smidde.
