New head of "Sales and Marketing"
After six years in various roles at Løvold AS, Sigurd is ready for new challenges.
Sigurd Klæth joined Løvold AS in 2018, and has since held several different roles - including production employee, mooring calculator and project manager. With expertise from several parts of the business, he enters the position with experience from the entire value chain - from planning to finished delivery.
- Being given the opportunity to embark on a new chapter in Løvold AS as Head of Sales and Marketing makes me both proud and humble. Together with talented colleagues, we will build on the solid work that has been done in the past, and continue to work hard every day to help and follow up our customers. At the same time, we are looking to the future and are ready to seize the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead," says Sigurd.
Stig-Endre Elvevoll, CEO of Løvold AS, emphasises the importance of developing and recruiting leaders from their own ranks:
- "We're looking forward to having Sigurd as our new manager. Over time, he has demonstrated that he is a skilled project manager who puts our customers in focus. Sigurd has also shown that he
has a good head and a good heart - which benefits both us as colleagues and customers in our everyday lives.
Elvevoll emphasises that internal recruitment is an important part of the company's culture and competence strategy:
- "When we recruit internally, we build on the valuable experience and knowledge that already exists in the organisation. This provides security, continuity and motivation - both for the person who gets the opportunity and for the rest of the team," says Stig-Endre.
Part of a long-term competence strategy
The appointment is part of a major focus on skills development in the organisation. Stig-Endre emphasises the importance of building on both experience and innovation:
- We have many skilled employees with long service and experience. To meet the challenges of the future, it's important to combine this experience with new expertise. This allows us to play to each other's strengths internally.

Sigurd will take over several of the responsibilities previously held by Operations Manager Stig-Rune Valen, who has the following comment:
- "Sigurd is the right man in the right place. I am confident that he will help steer Løvold AS in the right direction going forward. I look forward to working closely with him and exchanging ideas and expertise.
